From a small town in Hawkes Bay, Ralph joined the New Zealand Navy straight from high school – completing an apprenticeship as a Marine Fitter and gaining Advanced Trade Certificate and a Naval Boiler ticket.
After 6.1/2 years he left to commence a career in technical sales and over the next 25 years sold mechanical engineering products, injection moulded plastics, training services and IT documentation services.
Ralph began technical recruiting in 2002, had a hiatus for 6.1/2 years while working for the Salvation Army, and returned to RobLawMax Recruitment in September 2016 specialising in the Civil Contracting market.
Ralph’s other interests include enjoying time with his family, keyboards, piano, singing & digital recording, boating, fishing DIY and church.
