LET'S WORK TOGETHER AS PCBU's

Our commitment to Health and Safety is second to none. We are your H&S Partner. It is our duty to help you manage risk on your site. In particular, our primary duty of care is to ensure that our pre-qualified staff is not put at risk from the work they carry out on site; but equally that they do not create any unnecessary risks on your site.

We aim to drive and instil a health and safety culture that is driven from the top down, and to contribute to safe working spaces for our clients and candidates. We will take all practicable steps and work with you to make that happen.

Through the co-operative efforts of Management and Workers, we are committed to:

  • Providing a safe environment for all workers and visitors to our workplace
  • providing and maintaining buildings, equipment and plant in safe working condition
  • supporting the ongoing training and assessment of workers
  • developing, implementing and monitoring safe work practices
  • continuously improving the standards of health and safety in the workplace
  • managing risks in the workplace
  • manage risks associated with the use, handling, storage or transport of plant or substances
  • providing appropriate health and safety information to workers in other languages
  • providing information, instruction and supervision.

How do we achieve our H&S requirements?

Our H&S Framework

We have worked hard to develop a successful framework for Health and Safety management. This framework includes plans for systematic risk assesments, hazard controls, and training around improving safe behaviours and safe systems of work across the business.

Through this we have acheived our ISO 45001 and 9001 certifcations for the success of our Quality Management and H&S Management Systems

Our Hazard and Risk Management

We help to manage on site hazards and risk by:

  • identifing hazards by conducting regular workplace inspections,
  • reviewing hazard reports and reviewing injury/illness records
  • assessing each hazard in terms of its potential to do harm
  • identifying and implementing control measures to eliminate or reduce the risks
  • monitor and review the effectiveness of the control measures.

Our workplace injury management

We are committed to the prevention of illness and injury to our employees and clients by providing a healthy and safe working enironment. We insure this by:

  • Ensuring that contact is made with the injured employee as soon as practicable after the injury
  • Ensuring that reutrning to work as soon as possible is normal expectaction
  • Providing access to accredited rehibilitation providers
  • Cooperating with any onsite reporting and rehabilition requirments

Client and candidate safety checks

We know that we can't always be with you on site once you are placed so we make sure to provide regular safety check in's to clients and candidates so we can be ahead of any issues that may arise. These check in's help us to keep in contact and provide the opportunity to meet our PCBU requirments.

If you want to find out more about these check in's and what they entail please get in contact with Kit Quin, our health and safety representative.
