Although specific qualifications in management aren’t necessary for securing a job as a Civil Site Foreman, it is recommended to have a high level of experience in your field of work, particularly within the Civil Construction or Engineering space. However, qualifications that back up your leadership and supervisory skills will also be beneficial.

Following a few years’ experience, Civil Site Foremen can often progress their careers into further into Site and Construction Management. Alternatively, they can also choose to further specialise in their field and move into more senior roles.
