Construction Programme Manager Jobs

As a Construction Programme Manager, you will be responsible for managing large-scale construction programs, coordinating multiple projects, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of the Australian construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee multiple construction projects within a larger program, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets while managing risks and resources.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of projects.
• Monitor project progress and performance, making necessary adjustments to achieve targets.
• Ensure compliance with Australian construction regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental requirements.
• Manage procurement, contracts, and supplier relationships to optimise project delivery.
• Lead and mentor project managers and teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in construction project or program management.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contract management, and regulatory compliance in Australia.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale construction programs.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project risks effectively.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Aconex.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is an advantage.
