Contract Engineer Jobs
Contract Engineer to support contract management, negotiation, and compliance in engineering projects across Australia. The ideal candidate will have experience in contract administration, procurement, and risk assessment, ensuring smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and manage contracts for engineering projects.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
- Coordinate with project teams to monitor contract performance and milestones.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions with vendors and stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Provide support in claims management and dispute resolution.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to contract management.
- Liaise with legal and procurement teams to ensure alignment with company policies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Contract Management, Law, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in contract engineering or contract administration.
- Strong knowledge of Australian contract law and procurement processes.
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with FIDIC, NEC, or other standard contract frameworks.
- Previous experience in utility or consultancy firms specializing in contract management.
