General Manager Jobs

A Power General Manager will lead and oversee the operations, business development, and strategic initiatives of our power division in Australia. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the energy sector, particularly in power generation, transmission, and distribution, as well as strong leadership and financial management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the overall operations, performance, and growth of the power division.

Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.

Lead business development initiatives, identifying new market opportunities and partnerships.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.

Manage budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost control to maximize profitability.

Optimize operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, suppliers, and customers.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.

Identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

10+ years of experience in the power or energy sector, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Proven track record in managing large-scale power generation, transmission, or distribution projects.

Strong business acumen with experience in financial management, contract negotiations, and regulatory compliance.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
