Key responsibilities:

• Fieldwork:
• Assisting in conducting field surveys, taking measurements, recording data, and setting out land boundaries using surveying equipment. 
• Data processing:
• Analysing collected survey data using specialised software to generate accurate maps, plans, and reports. 
• Boundary calculations:
• Assisting in calculating property boundaries and elevations based on survey data. 
• Map creation:
• Preparing detailed maps and plans of land parcels, including property boundaries and features. 
• Compliance:
• Adhering to relevant surveying regulations and safety procedures during fieldwork. 
• Collaboration:
• Working alongside senior surveyors and other professionals like engineers and planners. 
• Technical skills:
• Proficiency in using surveying software, GIS applications, and data analysis tools. 

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Spatial Science, or a related field
• Strong understanding of surveying principles and techniques
• Ability to operate surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS devices, and laser scanners
