Inspection Engineer Jobs

Inspection Engineers support quality assurance, compliance, and safety inspections in engineering projects across Australia. The ideal candidate will have experience in inspection processes, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment, ensuring project integrity and adherence to industry standards.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of engineering projects to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Assess materials, structures, and systems for defects or deviations from specifications.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with project teams and regulatory bodies to resolve compliance issues.
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures throughout project lifecycles.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with engineering operations.
  • Stay updated with industry standards, safety regulations, and technological advancements.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in inspection engineering or quality control.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian safety and compliance regulations.
  • Proficiency in inspection tools, methodologies, and reporting techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in infrastructure, construction, or manufacturing industries.
  • Certification in inspection standards such as API, NACE, or ISO.
  • Previous experience in utility or consultancy firms specializing in quality assurance.
