  • Design and implement proactive maintenance strategies including preventative maintenance tasks, predictive maintenance techniques, and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM). 
  • Monitor equipment health through key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Lead projects to enhance equipment reliability through design modifications, component upgrades, and process optimization. 
  • Provide training to maintenance teams on new maintenance procedures and reliability best practices 
  • Identify potential reliability risks and implement mitigation strategies 
  • Evaluate the cost impact of equipment failures and potential reliability improvement projects 


Skills and qualifications for a Reliability Engineer in Australia:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills and data interpretation abilities
  • Proficiency in CMMS systems and data analysis software
  • Knowledge of reliability engineering principles, including FMEA, RCM, and Weibull analysis
  • Experience with maintenance practices and procedures
