Key responsibilities:

• Field data collection: Operate surveying instruments like GPS units, total stations, and laser levels to measure angles, distances, and elevations on site. 
• Data recording: Accurately record field observations and measurements in digital formats. 
• Topographical mapping: Create detailed maps of land features including terrain, vegetation, buildings, and utilities. 
• Boundary surveying: Assist in establishing and marking property boundaries. 
• Data processing: Utilise surveying software to process collected data, perform calculations, and generate digital plans. 
• Coordinate with surveyors: Collaborate with surveyors to ensure field data aligns with project requirements. 
• Quality control: Regularly check and calibrate surveying equipment to maintain accuracy.
