Key Responsibilities:
- Perform fabrication, repairs, and maintenance on fixed and mobile plant equipment.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Weld and assemble structural metal components to required standards.
- Conduct inspections and identify potential equipment failures.
- Work closely with maintenance planners and supervisors to deliver scheduled and breakdown maintenance.
- Adhere to strict safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
- Australian recognised Trade Qualification – Boilermaker / Metal Fabricator.
- Proven experience working in mining, heavy industry, or similar environments.
- Proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) and metal fabrication techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
- Experience on mining fixed plant such as crushers, conveyors, and chutes.
- High Risk Work Licenses (e.g., EWP, Forklift, Dogging/Rigging).
- Working at Heights and Confined Space certifications.
- 7/7 roster.
