Contract Administrator
Our client is a leading commercial builder, with a strong pipeline of work across education, health, government, industrial and commercial sectors, who pride themselves on building lasting partnerships and delivering projects that meet and exceed expectations.

We’re looking for an experienced Contract Administrator to play a key role in the successful delivery of multiple commercial construction projects.
   
The Opportunity:
Working closely with Project Managers and site teams, the Contracts Administrator will be responsible for the end-to-end contract management process: from procurement to project close-out. You’ll ensure all contractual, financial and compliance elements are tracked, reported, and executed with precision.
   
Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue subcontractor packages, purchase orders and contract variations
  • Manage subcontractor progress claims, payment schedules, and approvals
  • Assist in the preparation of head contract claims, EOTs, and project reporting
  • Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, registers, and financial tracking
  • Support procurement and tender evaluations
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms, company policies, and regulatory standards
  • Contribute to project scheduling and forecasting alongside the delivery team
   
What You’ll Bring:
  • 3+ years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator in commercial construction
  • Solid knowledge of contract law and experience with AS2124/AS4300 contracts
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
  • Proficiency in construction software and MS Office Suite
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or similar
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Ability to work across multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines
