Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on electrical systems across the site.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, including motors, drives, PLCs, and control systems.
- Conduct inspections in accordance with Australian electrical standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities using the site’s CMMS.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant reliability and efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with other trades and operational teams to achieve production targets safely.
- Current Queensland Electrical Licence (or ability to obtain).
- Minimum Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.
- Previous experience in mining, heavy industry, or similar environments (preferred).
- High regard for safety, risk management, and quality workmanship.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with PLC systems (Siemens/Allen Bradley) highly regarded.
