A fantastic opportunity awaits an experienced Food & Beverage Venue Manager to take ownership of service delivery, team performance, and guest satisfaction within a fine dining restaurant and bar.
   
About the Role:

  • This position is responsible for leading all aspects of front-of-house operations, from the guest’s first greeting to their final farewell.
  • You'll ensure service excellence, optimise team performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to maintain a welcoming and vibrant dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily venue operations to ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience.
  • Coach and develop team members to deliver consistently high standards of service.
  • Monitor and enhance service performance using guest feedback and team insights.
  • Recruit, train, and retain high-performing staff in alignment with the venue’s culture and service expectations.
  • Lead by example, creating a professional, respectful, and collaborative team environment. Maintain optimal staffing levels and implement workforce plans to support operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to drive innovation and service excellence.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
  • Proven leadership experience in fast-paced hospitality, ideally within a fine dining restaurant.
  • Strong people management skills with a track record of building high-performing teams.
  • A guest-first mindset with an eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and inspire others.
  • Financial and operational acumen, including experience with budgeting, stock control, and reporting.
  • A hands-on approach with a proactive attitude and passion for continuous improvement.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in food and beverage marketing and inventory management.
  • Understanding of hospitality compliance, food safety, and WHS standards.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members across all levels.
  • Familiarity with performance management, training programs, and HR processes.
