The role:
As a Registered Architect, you will have proven experience in managing a team to deliver large scale architectural projects through all stages from preliminary design. You will use your people skills on a daily basis, leading your team by example, promoting a collaborative and enjoyable environment where your team members develop their skills in a supportive environment
Working as part of the architectural management group, you will work closely with the Head of Design, Group Architectural Manager and Design Manager to ensure work delivered to industry best practice.
Key responsibilities and duties:
People leadership
Managing the delivery of high quality design documentation
Ensuring work is delivered to NZ Building Code and NZS3604
Adhering to Summerset's established processes
Managing the building consent and approvals process
Using your knowledge to anticipate and solve potential problems
Developing effective working relationships with site delivery team
Skills / Expertise required:
Registered Architect status
Working knowledge of NZ Building Code and NZS3604
Proven experience of delivering complex apartment, commercial or healthcare projects
Revit experienced
High level attention to detail
