The Opportunity
The Candidate Manager will work alongside our Auckland Manager with a focus on recruiting talent for Professional Services, Civil Infrastructure and Senior Management roles. Working in a candidate short market the priority of the position will be identifying and sourcing the right talent for our clients. Other responsibilities include:
Growing the RobLawMax candidate database as well as keeping all records up to date
Advert drafting and social media posting
Screening CVs, arranging interviews and reference checking
Researching company and market sector information
Attending industry events
What we need from you
We are looking for a "people person” with real spark and personality who will contribute both professionally and personality wise to the great culture in the office. Someone who gets creative when it comes to finding candidates, enjoys hard work and can handle the administration component of the role. You also need to be resilient and pro-active in picking up the phone to talk with our candidates. Other attributes we are looking for are:
Strong MS Office and IT skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Time management – you can juggle your tasks, prioritise, and communicate when you can’t meet a deadline
Good sense of humour
An interest in construction/engineering is a bonus
any recruitment/resourcing or construction experience is a huge plus, in-house or agency or someone with a trades background
