My client are a growing team of 10,focussed in the consultancy land development and public infrastructure design space. Projects are typically in the 10 – 30 lot range including roading, pavements, drainage, driveways, stormwater modelling, flood reporting and detention tank design for land development and subdivision works.Located in West Auckland you will work from modern, recently refurbished open plan offices alongside a range of related design professionals.As an experienced Civil Engineer you will play a key role in the practice. Along with technical competence aligned values are essential including high levels of personal integrity, professionalism, a sense of humour and pride in producing quality work.

Reporting to company Directors you will assist with delivering a range of civil developments across the full project life cycle from feasibility to design, consent, tendering, contract administration, construction supervision and subdivision project management.You will be offered the opportunity to lead your own projects and provided the support of developing Engineers as well as guidance from supportive, experienced Directors who are also Civil engineers.

B Tech, BE Civil or NZCE/NZDE qualified in Civil Engineering
A number of years NZ consulting experience across detailed design, site assessment and observation on land development and subdivision projects
Proficient with Civil Engineering Design software for 3 waters, roading and access way, earthworks, sediment and erosion control design
Familiar with Flood Risk Assessment and flow path modelling
Developed technical report writing ability and communication skills
Comfortable providing independent construction monitoring and contract management forsmall to medium sized developments
