Reporting to Concrete NZ’s Technical Director, the position of Civil Engineer is responsible for activities focussed on enhancing and expanding Concrete NZ’s technical capability around infrastructure. It also presents an exciting opportunity to lead Concrete NZ’s new Pipes Stakeholder Group.
This dynamic and varied role will suit an experienced engineer, with technical expertise in civil engineering.
Strong organisational and communication skills are essential as the role entails contributing to the work of Standards Committees, conducting training/presentations and writing technical documents are also involved.
Lead Concrete NZ’s Pipes Stakeholder Group.
Conduct presentations and training.
Provide technical support to designers and consulting engineers.
Develop technical publications and participate in Standards Committees.
Liaison with overseas concrete groups.
Minimum 5 years professional experience and/or hold CPEng or equivalent qualification.
Experience and technical knowledge in design and specification.
Successful delivery of engineering projects.
Ability to engage with a range of stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Enthusiasm and motivation for continued learning.
