Partnering with a range of public and private sector organisations they are at the forefront of some of New Zealand’s largest and most iconic transport and infrastructure developments resulting in a current need for an experienced Environmental Planner to join their expert Environmental and Planning team. Projects are broad and encompass major transport and related infrastructure, land development, social housing, energy, telecommunications and 3 waters.The position will involve providing professional planning advice to a range of long term, established clients across private, central and local government organisations. Work is varied with a focus on infrastructure and associated development in the wider Auckland region.
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Environmental Planning or Resource Management
5 years planning experience including a number of years within a consulting environment
Strong technical planning skills and knowledge of the statutory approval processes
Exceptional client relationship skills
An ability to think conceptually and envisage long term implications of planning decisions
Full membership with the NZPI or approaching
