RobLawMax has an outstanding opportunity for a Civil Estimator to join a well-regarded mid-tier civil contractor based in Brisbane. The position will be a key member of the pre-contracts team with respect to obtaining tenders, contributing to risk assessments, obtaining material costs, and establishing costs against agreed construction methodologies. You will possess excellent experience on earthworks and road construction projects, with exposure to, mining and power infrastructure (civil works) projects being advantageous.
Key selection considerations:
Bachelor - Civil Engineering
Hands-on civil construction experience highly regarded
Ability to work within a pre-contract team & to challenge construction methodologies to configure point of difference tender outcomes
Ability to run estimates – not just delegate and manage a team
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, develop and review the work of team members
Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills
