Whilst piling and foundations will always be big chunks of concrete underground, how they are built is undergoing continual development with new techniques & technologies coming onto the world stage.

The right person for this role will be an experienced Foreman/Supervisor with background in bored piling – with Polymer, and a serious interest in becoming a specialist in this area of construction.

You will have strong leadership attributes, be highly organised and a great planner and organiser of multiple activities on site. You will have that highly sought-after ability to envisage the forthcoming weeks of site activity in detail and foresee bottlenecks before they start to constrain productivity. You’ll also have the people skills to build relationships with your direct staff, suppliers, clients & engineers that result in people wanting to work with you and help you achieve your goals.
Reporting directly to the Project Manager you will be in-charge, driving quality in all areas of planning, operation including executing the construction program, contributing to method statements, organising the site for maximum productivity, managing health & safety, completing all documentation – site diaries machine & personnel time-sheets, client relations, setting standards, and ensuring compliance in all aspects of on-site personnel activities, plant operation and plant conditions.
You will need to be able to go where the work is and whilst your home base will be Auckland, you will need to be ok from time to time being deployed to projects outside Auckland.
An attractive package will be negotiated enabling you to earn between $80k- $120k depending on your experience, with either a Vehicle or Vehicle allowance depending on your preference.
