Our client has openings for entry level and experienced Glass Production Operators to be part of their production team. Skills and Experiences

On offer for committed and hardworking candidates is a fantastic opportunity to learn from some of the industry's best. We are seeking applicants with various levels of experience, but above all else must at least have one or more of the following:

  • 2 years minimum of experience in operating CNC Machine, Crushing, Grinding and Polishing machine

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

  • Great communication and interpersonal skills

  • Heavy steel fabrication / welding experience is advantageous

  • Engineering Education background is advantageous

  • Any experience of testing standards is useful

Duties of the Role

  • Work as a glass operator for glass, marble, and granite

  • Glass and stone related manufacturing work, including glass and stone cutting, edging polishing, installation, etc

  • Smoothening, leveling, and polishing surfaces using water jet and hand power tools

  • Cut, shape, and polish rock materials using abrasive saw and power grinder

  • Lay and align glass / stones according to set construction plans and specifications

  • Read and interpret drawings to determine the specifications and materials required for the ongoing project

  • Carry out repairs on cracked or chipped glass / stone products

  • Clean the surface of glass / stone using sponge, brush, water or chemical solutions

  • Making sure all finished work is within specifications, regulations, and contract provisions

  • Follow Health and Safety rules and guidelines

  • Other duties assigned by Production Manager
