Our client is a leading PQS firm, due to high demand for their services and the booming construction market they are growing their Auckland team – and this is where you come in.
If you are a junior QS with 1-2 years cost consultancy experience, this could be the next great career move for you. You’ll be working across a variety of projects and undertaking funding to cost management to dispute analysis work. You’ll be working under the guidance of a skilled senior QS and working within a supportive and tight knit team.
You’ll ideally already have experience in pre-contract quantity surveying, cost planning & value engineering already but be eager to learn and improve!
We are looking for:
Tertiary degree in quantity surveying
Ideally 1-2 years experience gained in a cost consultancy / PQS environment, we will consider those with 6 months experience also
Positive personality, can do attitude, and enthusiasm for learning
Ability to take constructive criticism on board
Skills in pre-contract quantity surveying, cost planning & value engineering
Eye for detail and able to interpret and measure costs accurately
