A rare opportunity has arisen to join a well established world-wide company in their Lower Hutt manufacturing plant. They are a leading global adhesive specialist in construction, consumer and industrial markets.

The objective of the role is to support the operations of the plant whilst ensuring that safety is, quality and productivity meet the manufacturing requirements.

Responsibilities of the role:


  • Produce a production plan on a weekly basis

  • Print Batch Cards and Packing Sheets when required

  • Complete material analysis when required to assist the supply chain with their purchasing schedule

Health and Safety

  • Complete and maintain smart cards, incident report and safety conversations

  • Carry out safety audits as and when required

  • Assist in any Health and Safety projects and initiatives as and when required

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all SOP are up-to-date, and amend or create new ones as required

  • Ensure all packing BOM and packing sheets are up-to-date and amend or create new ones as required

3rd Party Manufacturing

  • Create purchase orders and organise packaging, raw material and SFG transfers

  • Liaise with 3rd part manufacturers


  • Develop process improvement projects to improve quality, safety and productivity

  • Assist in the development, planning and commissioning of Capex projects

What you need to be successful in this role:

  • High level data analysis skills

  • Manufacturing background preferred

  • Competent with SAP and MS Excel

  • Good communication and team work skills required

  • Experienced Problem Solver

  • Attention to detail
