Our client, who is a well established importer and distributor of products within the New Zealand and Australian market, is on the search for a Customer Service co-ordinator to join their busy team based in Wellington.
About the role:
This is a diverse and interesting role, covering many products and helping the team retain and expand a great and loyal client base throughout Australia and New Zealand. You will be required to work across 3 main areas of the business includes :
Product and Supplier search and development - Working to locate and assess new product opportunities and match customer requests for ingredients
Other key responsibilities include:
Preparing Product Specifications, PIF's and Buying Specifications
Demonstrate excellence in administration and ensure documentation relating to suppliers and products are accurate and up-to-date
Liaise with new and existing customers & suppliers to gather and analyse information
Support the sales support team - review requests and follow up appropriate action points
Other projects around food safety and quality control
To be successful in the role, you will need:
Food Science degree, Chemistry or equivalent qualification or experience
Ability to work logically and systematically, with good time management
Commercial awareness and negotiation skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in EXCEL and WORD
