About the role:
This role is to lead projects and a dedicated team in their expanding Wellington business. They have some fantastic projects underway and in the pipeline across a variety of sectors.
They are looking for a highly ambitious project director to lead these through to handover, but also to grow the business’ footprint in the competitive project management market.
They have earned a great reputation in the region after successfully delivering some of the regions’ biggest and best projects and this role will build on that strong foundation.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of delivery and an existing network in the Wellington region but if you are an experienced project management consultant from outside the region, then do not hesitate to apply as well!
Successful applicants will have:
Minimum 8-10 years as a project manager, ideally in a consultancy/s
Previous experience in leading large project teams, both internal & external staff
The ability to build strong connections and win business
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Full lifecycle project delivery experience, inception through to handover
Strong knowledge of NZ building regulations, including NZS3910 standards
Tertiary qualification in construction, project management or engineering
