RobLawMax is partnered with a reputable mining house with committed capital spend at their mine in the coming 4 years. On one of the landmark projects within this portfolio, a newly created position for a Project Engineer has become available to support the Project Manager and leadership team.

You’ll join a business with an international reputation in the mining landscape, as it continues to provide critical gold and copper resource to the global marketplace. You will work within a proficient team on a major underground scope covering underground development and materials handling facilities.

To be considered for this Project Engineer position you must possess:

  • Bachelor qualifications in Engineering (civil, mechanical or mining)

  • Ideally 3-8 yrs post graduate experience

  • Previous exposure on an underground mining project (desirable)

  • Strong construction experience ideally in an owner’s team or EPCM environment

  • Strong commercial acumen – ability to plan, forecast and manage project costs

  • Exceptional communication ability (both written & verbal)

  • The ability to FIFO on an 8/6 or 16/12 roster
