One of New Zealand’s leading construction companies is now hiring for a key position for their Auckland operation. A Project Manager is required to join their construction team on a permanent basis, the salary for the role is $180-220k with excellent benefits and long term job security.

The company has experienced tremendous growth and have become recognised as leaders in the construction sector. They build a range of projects across commercial, large scale residential, healthcare, leisure and hospitality. Typical projects values range from $100-280m.

Reporting to the Senior Construction Manager, the PM will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery timescales are met alongside a dedicated site team. Health and Safety is also a major part of the role, their sites each have dedicated health and safety officers to ensure everyone goes home safely at night.

Required skills and experience:

  • Strong Project Management experience on construction projects over $100m

  • Ideally 8-10 years commercial construction experience gained in New Zealand

  • Top notch project delivery experience and proven experience with planning and programming

  • Excellent team player attitude, a people leader and highly effective manager

  • Formal degree or diploma in construction or a related discipline
