Job Description:

Our client is looking to relocate its existing business and food production facilities to a new location and require a Project Manager to be responsible for ensuring it’s a successful move to the new site with minimal downtime and spend. This is a full-time contract role starting in May for around 7-8 Months.

Key activities are outlined below:

Relocation will involve planning, budgeting, requirement gathering, design finalisation and signoff, ensuring application and securing of safety and related food production requirements, planning logistics schedule of move / installation / testing and management alignment of ‘production timing switch from sites to minimise impact of downtime.

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing communications with building management, local council and relevant government bodies including health and safety, contracting companies for design / build as agreed, movers, stakeholders such as existing site landlords, contractors, suppliers, along with CEO, finance team, people manager and production manager.

Key Deliverables:

Master Project Plan, individual site relocation plans, Budgets and move relocated financial management,Comms Plans (for liaison with multiple stakeholders), weekly status updates, risk management plan, issues management, resourcing plan with regular updates as agreed across all these plans.

Experience and Key skills

  • 10 years+ Project / Programme Manager Experience [certified]

  • Successfully completed at least one Operations move preferably involving food production

  • Contract management

  • Good communication skills / quick thinker and problem solver

  • Ability to work with senior executives

  • Understand Health and Safety requirements and preference for food related regulations

  • Good financial management skills

  • Working with Designers, and understanding floorplans etc

  • Leader, and self-managing

  • 7-8 months
