Our client is one of New Zealand’s best construction contractors, they work on all sizes and types of projects ranging in value from $3-300m. They have a fantastic team of talented and dedicated staff, low turnover, great culture and a lot of work on the books for the next 2-3 years.

They are in need of a Project Manager to join their team on a downtown Auckland CBD hotel project. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience of working on fit -out projects. The salary for the role will be $160-180k depending on experience and level.

The company has a long history of successfully delivering challenging and complex projects across the north island.


The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • 5+ years demonstrable experience of working on interiors construction and/or refurb projects

  • Proven ability in managing projects to deliver on time and to high quality levels

  • Experience in liaising with stakeholders and the client in a professional manner

  • Ability to read plans and specifications

  • Excellent communication skills. You must be able to professionally and assertively convey communication to all involved

  • Proficient is MS projects and project programming

  • Have a trade qualification and/or come from a trades background
