There aren't may residential building companies who can boast of a 50% growth in the past year, their success continues in the burgeoning residential build sector. They currently require an experienced Project Manager to come on board to drove their build projects across Auckland - this role will be based in East Auckland overseeing a number of high quality projects (eg Botany, Howick, Pakuranga, East Tamaki).

They are experts in new home builds, sub-divisions, multi-lot sites, and large-scale affordable housing projects. With many multi-disciplinary experts employed within the business, they offer clients a one-stop shop, with the majority of projects being taken from concept to completion in-house. This role is about bringing the customers dream to reality by providing exemplary leadership and organisation with the site contractors and suppliers to ensure construction is completed on time to the set quality standards, specifications and Council standards.
Main Duties:
Manage the direction, schedule and progress of your allocated sites
Lead site staff and foster collaborative, effective and positive work environments on all build sites for all stakeholders
Conduct regular site inspections
Coordinate and ensure all aspects of onsite Health and Safety systems and procedures are maintained to the highest levels
Skills and Experience:
Have at least 5 years experience in project managing residential home builds, OR residential builder with over 10 years experience and wanting to get off the tools
Ability to communicate effectively to an array of stakeholders and clients
Proven experience of project management: meeting targets and deadlines in a previous role
Sound technical knowledge and an understanding of relevant codes and legislation (Building Act 2004 and NZS3604)
High levels of personal presentation and professionalism
Sound computer skills – Microsoft suite
