My client has quickly established themselves in the New Zealand project management & infrastructure advisory sector as one of the smartest and highest performing teams available and their imprint can already been seen on some of NZ’s largest infrastructure programmes/projects. They are highly valued by key organisations across NZ such as NZTA, KiwiRail, Auckland Transport & Centreport & many others for their ability to cut through project red tape and keep critical infrastructure programmes on time and budget.
The ideal applicant will already have 1-2 years project planning experience, using Primavera P6 and MS Project. This role will work alongside the Programme Manager, Project Controls Manager and the commercial team. You will work closely with all associated stakeholders on the project including consultants, architects and main contractors.
You will be responsible for planning and scheduling all construction activities for the master programme and integrating this with all parties schedules to ensure a consistent programme that is adhered to. The role could suit a junior engineer or project manager, looking to further their project controls experience on a large projects.
Key attributes needed are:
Infrastructure project experience is essential
Experience in use of Primavera P6 and MS Project software
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
Tertiary qualification is preferred
