You will be responsible for managing the financial position of construction projects and ensuring they accurately reported and controlled effectively. This will include cost planning, bills of quantity preparation, measuring cost plans and contract administration.
This highly regarded main contractor has a long history of successfully delivering commercial construction projects across the Auckland region. They cover projects in the commercial, industrial, education, healthcare and leisure sectors.
Your experience will include:
5 years working on construction projects in New Zealand as a QS
Successfully managing costs through project life cycle
Experience in cost planning, bills of quantity preparation, measuring cost plans and contract administration
Able to confidently navigate your way around sites and provide technical knowledge to the engineering and building teams
Providing accurate commercial advice to Construction Directors and Project Managers
Working across multiple high value commercial projects
Excellent communication skills. You must be able to convey communication professionally and assertively to all involved
A relevant tertiary education
