About the role:
This is a rare opportunity to get stuck into a major project in its early stages. This role will be responsible for developing an effective risk strategy for one of Auckland’s biggest transport construction projects.
You will implement this strategy across the wider project team – including external consultants, contractors, and stakeholders – and maintain its effectiveness throughout the project, updating as necessary and taking an active responsibility for the project’s risk management processes.
This is a permanent, full-time position, reporting to the project controls manager, and working within a fantastic team of construction professionals.
About you:
Due to the scope and scale of this project, we are looking for a highly experienced risk manager. You will have previous experience developing risk management strategies for major construction projects, ideally in the transport and roading sector.
Extensive experience in construction risk management
Experience with major transport construction projects
Highly effective communication skills
Great relationship building and stakeholder management skills
The ability to develop comprehensive risk management strategies
Solutions-focussed with a creative approach to problem solving
