RobLawMax is partnered with a reputable mining business with an excellent reputation in Australia’s mining landscape across a variety of open cut sites.They have a reputation built on consistently successful delivery of medium-sized sites in a variety of commodities.The business has tripled in revenue this past 6 years!They’ve got further strategic growth plans involving enhancing their footprint in coal while diversifying into other commodities across QLD and NSW.
The Role:
This position is part of an established team that will have oversight of 4 Mining Engineers at this flagship site.The role has a focus on mine planning and design, with input into short-term scheduling but driving the enhancement of their medium-term planning initiatives.You will receive an opportunity to work autonomously while maintaining a supportive environment with established site management and an excellent Technical Services Manager.
To be successful in this role you must possess:
Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering
Ideally 5+ years’ experience at an operational open cut mine site
Technical competency with exposure to Vulcan, Deswik and Spry
A collaborative approach to leadership working in a diverse team environment
Previous exposure leading and/or mentoring Mining or Graduate Engineers
