Most of your time will be spent in the office and you will on occasion be rostered on for 24hr support.
Understand customer needs through proactive customer service diagnosis
Manage customer relationship from a service perspective through a structured service approach, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
Ensure resolution of technical issues at customer sites while maintaining a strong relationship with the customer
Co-ordinate and manage automation project delivery
Lead small to medium sized project’s, but also work independently at times
Act as an ambassador for Macro Automation / Tetra Pak
Travel to support the delivery of your projects
Be involved from quotation through design, development, and final delivery
What you need to have:
Proven ability to deliver on Automation projects and 24/7 Automation Support
Proven service performance with a strong track record, ideally over 5 or more years
A proven track record in Automation Servicing, ideally within the dairy &/or beverage industry
A University Degree or other Tertiary Qualification in automation engineering, software / mechtronics engineering or electrical / electronic engineering
Basic process engineering knowledge (able to interpret P&ID’s)
Ability to read / write / mark up functional descriptions
Skills in multiple PLC platforms
Skills in multiple HMI platforms
Experience with SQL and an understanding of basic database concepts is a plus
Knowledge of older legacy PLC languages is a plus
Skills in other programming languages such as Go, C# is a plus
Experience in commissioning automation solutions and working in a factory environment
Experience in software simulation / Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
