Overseeing the build of new projects in Auckland, a Site Manager is required to join this leading top tier contractor for a long term position with job security and a fantastic work culture. Experience of site managing the construction of building structures is essential in order to be considered. You will be working on a significant high profile project for the company; a versatile, can-do and collaborative attitude is expected as this position and phase of the project must be run accurately and safely to schedule.

The salary on offer is $130-150k, possibly more for the right person. The company have already built some of Auckland's most significant projects and have a number of large and interesting projects secured.


  • Manage and supervise the structural build of the project

  • Support and foster a strong health and safety culture

  • Organise the workforce and subcontractors to action and execute the work on site as per the schedule

  • Read and understand drawings and specifications for structural build elements

  • Read project programme and produce reports for the PM

Skills and experience required:

  • Strong site management experience in structures, and industry knowledge of NZ building codes

  • A hands-on and practical approach to deliver objectives and a desire to ensure the site is a safe workplace

  • Effective communication and the ability to relate to internal and external clients on all levels

  • Read and understand drawings and specifications including architectural, structural and basic services
