An excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager with a passion for interior fit out, in this permanent position you will be responsible for managing a large scale fit out of a land mark Wellington building over multiple floors.


As an experienced Site Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Ensuring your subcontractors and direct team are working in accordance with the site Health & Safety rules

  • Interacting professionally with the Client and the Client's Project Management Consultant

  • Co-ordinating material delivery with Suppliers

  • Managing documentation

  • Approving timesheets

  • Anticipating issues that may impact on delivery and developing solutions

  • Ensuring relationships with subcontractors are positive

  • Taking ownership of day to day site management issues

  • Promoting a collaborative team culture with colleagues and project partners

The Project:

Hard Fit out of 15,000 square metre high profile commercial office build located close to the Wellington rail station.

The Company:

Main Contractor with a proven track record of delivery supported by a high quality specialist interior fit out Contractor. This project is led by a highly experienced Construction Manager and a small team of Project and Site Managers who are well versed in delivering on time and budget.

You:

Personable, collaborative and professional, you must have proven experience site managing interiors projects and be able to provide references.

Salary circa $125k - $130k negotiable. Please note that applicants must have the right to accept permanent employment in New Zealand.
