One of New Zealand’s leading commercial and fit-out contractors is in need of a Site Manager for a 6 month contract based on a flagship project in central Auckland. Candidates must be available immediately OR at 1-2 weeks notice. The rate on offer is $75/hr on a GST contractor basis.

​At least 5 years experience of working on construction fit-out projects in NZ is essential to be considered, in a site manager or senior site foreman position.

​The company has a strong history of successfully delivering high value, high spec projects across the Auckland region. They provide the management and delivery of projects for commercial, large scale residential, retail, and corporate sector clients.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • 5+ years demonstrable experience of working on interiors construction and /or refurb projects

  • Strong personality - equipped to confidently represent your employer across multiple construction projects

  • Able to confidently navigate your way around sites and provide technical knowledge to the engineering and building teams

  • Excellent communication skills. You must be able to professionally and assertively convey communication to all involved

  • As this role is site based you will need to be up to date with your knowledge of OH&S guidelines so as to ensure the safety of all on site

  • You will ideally have a trade qualification and/or come from a trades background
