With offices throughout New Zealand and Australia, our client is a very well known and true market leader who is searching for a Senior Sales Engineer to join their growing team.
About the role:
As the Senior Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for the Sales and Growth, Customer Engagement and doing Technical Demonstrations and Product Testing to clients in the industry. This means, you will need to be comfortable to take centre stage, have technical know how and the flair to to build and maintain customer relationships. You will need to have a proactive approach and involvement with the sales process and after sales as well as the management of projects. As the company has unique products, full training and support will be given.
Key requirements for the role:
The ideal candidate will have a background in technical sales or engineering, with exposure to mechanical engineering, commissioning and/or control systems and an great attitude with a hunger to learn.
Other key requirements:
Degree qualified - Ideally in Engineering
Experience in B2B sales with a proven track record
Knowledge on Mechanical products i.e. HVAC related products
Exposure to sales in the mechanical services, commercial interior, architectural or construction industry is desirable but not a deal breaker.
Commercial acumen with a high level of initiative and autonomy in day to day tasks
A current, valid and full driver's license is required
