Our client Kauri, is a well established importer and distributor of products to the Australian wine industry and was voted the Australian Winery Supplier of the year in 2019.Their product range includes Saury & LEROI French & American Oak barrels, Premium European Glass Bottles, Yeast, ferment nutrient, malolactic starter cultures, stainless steel tanks, and much more.
Due to demand, they are on the search for a Sales representative for their company that will market their products to various wineries in the region. This is a rewarding position, visiting and discussing wines and products to different winemakers on a daily basis. This is not a 'hard sell' role, but more laying the foundation for future orders.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Background within the wine industry, either as a winemaker, working in wineries etc
Tertiary qualification related to winemaking
A passion for the industry and for sales
Ability to network, make appointments and promote the companies products
Provide technical support and advice
Well organised and have the ability to work independently
An ability to travel and be away from home on a regular basis is essential for this role
